What Makes Above Ground Pools a Smart Choice?

Why are more people choosing above-ground pools? The answer is simple: they’re convenient, flexible and faster to install. Unlike in-ground pools, above-ground pools don’t need extensive site preparation, which often means they’re faster to install and cost less.

But don’t think that means they’re lacking in style. Modern above-ground pools offer countless design options to complete the layout and décor of any backyard.

These pools also adapt well to different spaces. Got a tricky backyard layout or ground conditions? Above-ground pools can work on most flat surfaces, giving you more options.

And if you’d like to personalise it even further, you can add a deck, landscaping, or fencing to create a custom pool area that feels truly yours.

Design Options to Make an Above-Ground Pool Yours

Perhaps the best feature of an above-ground pool is how many ways you can make it fit your space and style.

At Splash in Style, we help you explore size, shape, and feature options to maximise your available space. Want a wraparound deck for sunbathing and easy access? Or how about LED lights to create a beautiful glow for evening swims? We can bring these ideas to life.

You can choose from a range of finishes and materials, too. From sleek modern panels to styles that blend naturally with the surroundings, the look of your pool can be whatever you envision. With so many ways to customise, an above-ground pool goes beyond just a place to swim—it becomes a stylish, personalised part of your backyard!

We wanted a pool in a narrow passage next to a retaining wall. Some companies didn't even want to look at the job after doing a desktop search of the area. Jaryd took the time to come out and was very positive and reassuring from the first visit. Splash In Style have turned the space into something special in such a small amount of time. We love it, the kids love it.
If you are considering getting a pool built, give these guys a call, you won’t be disappointed

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jaryd from Splash In Style took over the construction of our swimming pool when our builder went broke and the pool was only a shell. He transformed the shell into a wonderful swimming pool, providing Maytronics pool equipment that manages the pool system and maintenance with very little manual input. The pool includes a pool cover with an underground storage box.

Jaryd has an excellent team who were easy to communicate with and carried out their work in a timely and professional manner.

We are absolutely delighted with the result and highly recommend Splash In Style.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jaryd and his team built our pool in 4 weeks! Yep, busiest time of year when everyone wants it done before Christmas. 4 weeks from breaking ground to swimming. Great communication. Jaryd was always contactable and always kept us informed of what was happening. Professional, experienced & very easy to deal with. Don’t look any further if you are searching for a pool builder.
Edit - Jan 2025 I had an issue with my pump (my fault 😳) contacted Jaryd and he came to my rescue and got it fixed pronto under warranty. Service, communication and professionalism is outstanding. Thank you again. 😁

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are obsessed with the pool that Jaryd built. I had a precise vision of what I wanted for our 6 x 3 backyard pool with limited space, and he fulfilled it entirely, at a very reasonable cost point. Not only that, the turn around in terms of the timeframe was perfect, particularly when you consider how busy pool tradespeople are at the end of the year. If you are looking for a pool that will satisfy both purpose and aesthetics, trust Jaryd.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jaryd and the team at Splash in Style pools were fantastic to work with. Right from the start we got the right feeling with Jaryd as he worked with our ideas, provided his own and came up with the best layout for our yard. He answered all our questions during and after the build. Kids have swum in the pool everyday since.
